新能源材料研究所成立于2007年4月20日，注册资金为1200W，主要经营新型能源材料，锂二次电池材料包括正极材料锂锰氧，锂钴氧以及新型三元复合材料，磷酸钒锂，磷酸铁锂等多种正极材料，负极材料包括鳞片石墨，层状石墨，导电石墨，碳黑，硬碳等多种炭素材料。此外，锂一次电池、钠离子电池、燃料电池以及超级电容器材料等各项能源材料等也是本研究所的重点经营材料。
